Bras For Girls and TeamUP Washington.
TeamUP Washington is a sexual violence prevention initiative that uses sports as a platform to end sexual assault and dating abuse. As a young benefactor of this initiative, TeamUP WA helped cultivate the world I dream for today.
Bras for Girls is a non-profit giving young girls and athletes free access to essential sports equipment and breast development education. Sports Bras have given me a way to express my queer identity, prove my strength in male-dominated fields, find networks of other strong women, travel the world outside the United States, and accomplish what I thought previously impossible.
🏃♀️$15 = 1 athlete
💪 $100 = 10-12 athletes
👟 $500 = small team
🎽 $1,000 = large team
🏫 $5,000 = entire school
🌎 $10,000 = 1,000 athletes impacted
Running to give young girls and athletes the chance to access the power of sports is a dream come true, and every step I take will be with hope and a vision for a brighter future.
