A MESSAGE FROM Brittney’s Miles for Life
I’m honored to be running the 2026 New York City Marathon in support of the Chris Klug Foundation (CKF), an organization dedicated to eliminating the wait for lifesaving transplants by inspiring people to register as organ donors.
This cause is incredibly personal to me. My brother, Billy Flood, was an organ donor whose liver saved the life of Chris Klug, founder of CKF. Because of Billy’s gift, Chris was given a second chance at life and went on to create a foundation that has inspired thousands to register as donors.
Today, more than 103,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a lifesaving transplant. By running this marathon, I hope to raise awareness for organ donation and help support CKF’s mission to save lives.
