Friends, I am running the half marathon to support a friend whose 11 year old son was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. There are less than 200 known cases in the world and the treatment is long and painful. Hamish has gone through chemo, surgeries, and his family has donated his tumors to science. And he still has more to go, but through this all, Hamish has been a champion. Gilda’s Club has been amazing for their family, so I will run to support their work for families during such a difficult time. Whatever you can give would be amazing.
