I’m proud to be running in support of The Get In Touch Foundation, an organization that has had a meaningful impact on both my life and the Milford community for many years.
As a lifelong Milford resident, Lauralton Hall alumna, and former student ambassador for G.I.T. in 2016, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful their mission is. Through breast health education and awareness programs, G.I.T. empowers young people with knowledge, confidence, and the importance of early detection — conversations that truly save lives.
This mission is especially personal to me because breast cancer has affected so many people I love, including my grandmother and longtime family friends. Being part of G.I.T. at such a formative age taught me the importance of advocacy, education, and community support, and it’s something that has stayed with me ever since.
Now living in NYC, it feels incredibly full circle to bring the G.I.T. community and mission with me into the city through this experience. I’m honored to give back to an organization that has shaped me and impacted so many lives.
