A MESSAGE FROM Robert Runs
I find I always do my best thinking on my feet. Whenever I need some space to really reflect on something, I lace up some sneaks and hit the pavement. As I prepare for the biggest run of my life, I'm thinking about people who don't have that same luxury to just get up and go.
I'm running the NYC Marathon in support of the IronMatt Foundation, which supports families battling pediatric brain tumors. These kids—and their families—are in the fight of their lives, often facing long hospital stays, intense treatments, and uncertainty. They do not have the luxury to get up and go. IronMatt helps ease that burden by providing direct financial assistance to families and funding critical research aimed at better treatments and, someday, a cure.
