A MESSAGE FROM Dave’s running 26.2 miles because we got our dad back.
Y’all, I’m running for my dad this year, a man who rose from “the gutter most to the uttermost,” who endured his “40 years in the wilderness” and completely turned his life around. He is a blessing to so many people, including me, and I want the same for so many other families, and I believe that with love and community and faith, we can heal and restore families struggling with addiction. I’m running my sixth marathon in New York to honor folks who struggled and are struggling with addiction. I thank God for having these folks in our lives, and for their continued presence on this planet. Please support my fundraising efforts for Partnership to End Addiction, where my wife Molly works as a Family Therapist. No donation is too small. In fact, a dollar or two per friend, per family, per co-worker, per any wonderful person I have met along the path will hit the goal in no time. Please click on the donate button!
