A MESSAGE FROM Nakita Johnson’s A Mile With Me

A Mile With Me

On November 1, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon with Team Magic Bus and raising $5,000 to support young people working to build a future beyond poverty.

Magic Bus provides education, life skills and employability training that helps young people build the skills and opportunities they need to move from childhood to livelihood.

I have 26.2 miles between me and the finish line, and I’d love to have someone with me for every one.

Choose a mile that means something to you and make a donation in whatever amount feels right. When you donate, tell me which mile you chose and why. When I reach your mile in New York, I’ll know exactly who’s there with me.

Thank you for supporting Magic Bus and for taking a mile with me.

Pick your mile, and come run New York with me.
