A MESSAGE FROM In Memory of Katie - Andy's Epilepsy Foundation Fundraising Page
Hi, I'm Andy McDonnell and thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Epilepsy Foundation! It is an honor to be running the NYC Half Marathon in memory of my beloved daughter, Katie McDonnell, as part of the 2023 Epilepsy Foundation of Metro NY (EFMNY) team. We lost Katie this past June. Katie suffered with epilepsy and was actively involved as a volunteer working with the Epilepsy Foundation for the past several years. She took on all the challenges that epilepsy threw at her, choosing to combat her condition with grace, a positive attitude and healthy lifestyle. Katie ran this race last year as part of the EFMNY team raising money to fight this terrible disease. I'll be running in Katie's footsteps with the EFMNY team to continue Katie's fight against epilepsy. Thank you in advance for any contributions you can make to the Epilepsy Foundation. They're a great team working for a great cause!
