Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, I recently returned home after spending several years on the West Coast: from Los Angeles to San Francisco to Seattle. Running the NYC Marathon feels like a full-circle moment, an opportunity to take on my first marathon in the city that helped and continues to shape who I am. While I've completed 5Ks, 10Ks, and countless casual runs, (plus more walks from Midtown over the Williamsburg Bridge than I’d like to admit) the 2026 NYC Marathon will be my biggest challenge yet. I'm honored to run on behalf of ALPFA, an organization dedicated to empowering Latino leaders through personal and professional development. Through my involvement with ALPFA in both New York and Seattle, I've seen firsthand how it creates opportunities, meaningful connections, and pathways for future leaders.
