In 2018, my nephew, Lincoln Meeks, passed away shortly after his first birthday from SUDC or Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Lincoln was an incredibly happy child, and the depth of our grief over losing him is impossible to put into words. His impact on our family has been profound- and through "Love from Lincoln", his legacy continues to grow in beautiful and meaningful ways.
“Love from Lincoln” is an annual memorial honoring his life, now in its sixth year. Through this effort, 407 children's books have been donated to the Tulsa library, critical supplies have been provided to a high-need hospital in rural Mexico, and numerous other projects have been carried out in Lincoln’s name.
This year, I am honored that I have the opportunity to raise funds for the SUDC Foundation in Lincoln’s
memory. I'll be running my first marathon this fall in his honor, and I invite you to join me in supporting the important research and family support services SUDC provides. 100% of every contribution will go directly to the SUDC foundation to help fund research to protect children and uplift families navigating the tragic loss of a child.
