A MESSAGE FROM Meghan’s Fundraising
As a perennial glutton for punishment, I decided it was appropriate to run my first marathon at 40. I am genuinely excited to run, and even more-so because I get to on behalf of our beloved backyard, Riverside Park! For well over a decade, I've logged many miles up, down and along the park, and sent just as many sweaty selfies to prove it. Luke and his lobster were fixtures in "dog alley" during his years with us. Not knowing what to do with myself in the dead of winter with a newborn, I did countless laps of the park with a bundled up baby, which turned into a main social activity during the pandy years. In spring, we still stroll up to the 90th St Garden (as seen in You've Got Mail!) to look at the flowers, learn our colors, and hope to see a butterfly. And now, Bode and Nat test the limits of gravity and good judgement on any tree they can access and at the Elephant, Hippo, and River Run playgrounds. We truly love our park! Thank you for supporting me and Riverside Park Conservancy!
