A MESSAGE FROM Kayley’s Fundraising Page for the Aisling Irish Community & Cultural Center
Hi, I'm Kayley Tierney from North White Plains, NY, and I'm proud of my Irish heritage. All four of my grandparents were born in Ireland—Donegal, Kerry, Dublin, and Longford—and their stories and culture have always been a huge part of my life. My grandpa, in particular, instilled a deep appreciation for our roots, and his passion for Irish history and community has inspired me to support the Aisling Irish Center, which helps Irish immigrants feel at home in America.
In 2017, I visited Ireland for the first time and have returned several times since, with Donegal being my favorite spot. Running has also become a major part of my life, and after rediscovering my love for it in 2023, I’ve completed multiple half marathons. I’m thrilled to return to the 2025 United NYC Half Marathon, combining my passion for running with supporting a cause that means so much to me. I can’t wait to cross the finish line for the Aisling Irish Center!
