A MESSAGE FROM 26.2 For Axel
This year, I have the honor of running the 2026 New York City Marathon with Team CKF in support of the Chris Klug Foundation and their mission to eliminate the wait for life-saving organ transplants.
This race is deeply personal to me. This past summer, I lost my best friend Axel in a tragic car accident. Axel was an organ donor, and in the days following his passing, I witnessed something extraordinary. He saved and improved the lives of twelve people and their families through organ donation.
Running this marathon allows me to honor Axel’s legacy while raising awareness about the power of organ and tissue donation. The Chris Klug Foundation works to educate and inspire people to register as donors, and I’m incredibly proud to support their mission.
Over the coming months, I’ll be raising funds to support CKF’s work. If you’re able to contribute, it would mean a great deal to me and help support an important cause.
Thank you for supporting me and helping carry Axel’s legacy forward.
