Marathon Sunday is the best day to be a New Yorker. The energy is electric, the city is alive with support, and you can feel the true spirit of New York in every borough. I’m beyond excited to be running my 3rd New York City Marathon this year as part of Team NYJL!
The New York Junior League (NYJL) is a volunteer organization made up of more than 2,800 women (myself included) who collectively contribute over 260,000 hours of service each year to a variety of causes that impact communities across NYC.
For the past three years, I’ve volunteered with the League through a program called Personal Advancement and Leadership (PALs). We partner with high schools throughout the city to provide students with tools and workshops that help prepare them for college, careers, and life after graduation. We also take them on field trips to explore future paths, visiting places like The New York Times, HelloFresh, FAO, the NYC Museum, and more.
Being part of NYJL has been an incredible experience. I've had the opportunity to meet and work alongside so many smart, driven women, and I’m proud to be giving back to the city I love especially on Marathon Sunday.
I'm running to raise $3,500 in support of this amazing work, and I would be truly grateful for your support.
