A MESSAGE FROM Matt & Team IronMatt: Racing to End Pediatric Brain Cancer
I was 5 months old in 1997 when my sister, Emily, passed away from pediatric brain cancer at just three years old. Now, as a father of a one-year-old, I cannot fathom the pain my parents carried, or what it means to lose a child so young.

29 years later, I am running in her memory and for the countless families searching for hope and a cure. Help me honor Emily's legacy by supporting Team IronMatt as they provide care to those who need it most.

Matthew, you won’t remember me but I babysat Emily and you for a few years. Emily’s smile lit up the room and man, did that girl love her VeggieTales. As a 16 year old, I could quote all the movies and song all the songs. I look forward to singing with her in Heaven. Love you are doing this in her honor. Good luck!
