I am running this year for the 20,000 grandmothers and nearly 80,000 orphaned and vulnerable children my organization, Nyaka, is serving in Uganda. While I run for Nyaka in the 2021 New York City Marathon, a group of dedicated people in Nyaka village will be running too. We will run in solidarity so Nyaka can continue protecting and nurturing our children so they learn, grow, and thrive.
