This year marks 20 years since I ran my first marathon. I never dreamed I'd run another after my twenties. And certainly not after becoming a mom in my thirties. And yet, after joining the board of &Mother last year, I became so inspired by the women who balance sport and motherhood. &Mother is dedicated to breaking the barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue both career and motherhood. It's a mission that is dear to me because I believe that all women - no matter their chosen profession - deserve support on the journey to motherhood. I am fundraising for &Mother as I return to the streets of the 2024 New York City Marathon. It's been many years since my own working mom hugged me at that finish line and I hope to now cross it as a mom myself. My goal is to raise $5K. No donation is too small.
