A MESSAGE FROM Jana's 2026 NYC Marathon Fundraising
Hello friends, family, and community! I am beyond honored to be running the NYC marathon for the 2nd time in support of ROCC NYC, an organization I have partnered with at Metro Baptist for the last 3 years. Since the first buses of newest neighbors began arriving to NYC in 2022, ROCC has been the leading force in welcoming and supporting our migrant communities amidst an increasingly hostile and anti immigrant political environment. With a mostly volunteer led team, they have reunited families, advocated for countless clients to be granted asylum, and provided necessities like food, clothing, and housing to thousands of newly arrived New Yorkers. With your support, we can ensure this vital organization continues to make our city a great place to live for all people. Our immigrant neighbors need our support now more than ever. Thank you!
