Dearest Family, Friends, & Supporters,
On Sunday, March 20, I will be running the United Airlines NYC Half in support of the Children's Brain Tumor Project (CBTP).
For the past nine years, I have worked as an outpatient neurosurgical physician assistant. I have been a proud adult provider for the majority of my time in this profession but in 2020, I took the plunge into pediatric neurosurgery and haven’t looked back. While I am overjoyed to see all of my patients thrive, nothing warms my heart more than seeing a smiling child after their surgery, eager to give high fives and hugs because they’re feeling better.
Your donation directly supports the research underway at Weill Cornell Medicine, where I am a proud member of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Team, to help find the cure for pediatric brain tumors, a cause that I am truly passionate about. Your support allows us to work towards CBTP’s mission: “to cure more children with brain tumors.” I truly thank you for your support. We are in this together!
With Love,
Amanda
