I’m so excited to be running my first marathon—the NYC Marathon—for the Chris Klug Foundation (CKF), alongside my sister, who ran her first marathon with CKF as well.
Growing up in Aspen, Chris Klug and the CKF have been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I’m incredibly proud to now run in support of a mission that is so close to home. CKF works to help eliminate the wait for a transplant by inspiring and educating people to register as organ donors. More than 100,000 people in the U.S. are currently waiting for a lifesaving transplant, and simply saying “yes” to organ donation can make an extraordinary difference.
I can’t think of a more special way to take on my first marathon than alongside my sister, for a cause we both believe in. I’m so grateful for your support!
