A MESSAGE FROM Smiles and Miles for Red Door Community
I’m running the NYC Marathon with my brother, Winston, to raise money for Red Door Community!
For 16 years, Red Door Runners have championed free cancer support for New Yorkers and raised over $1 million. We’re beyond excited to join this incredible community, take on 26.2 miles through the best city in the world, and support such a meaningful cause. Your donation fuels vital programs—support groups, wellness workshops, and expert guidance—so no one faces cancer alone and everyone has the knowledge, hope, and strength to navigate it.
I’m also running in memory of my husband Mike’s sister, Samantha Salazar, who passed away from cancer in 2015. While we never had the chance to meet her, we’ve heard so many stories about her hilarious personality, genuine kindness, and deep love for life—and we’re honored to run in her memory.
We’d love your support in any form—donations, encouragement, or cheering us on along the way. Every bit means the world as we work toward the FINISH LINE!!!
Love and thanks to all of you for your support in this exciting endeavor 💛
