Throughout my journey of fundraising, I have been deeply drawn to organizations that serve and support first responders and military personnel, as well as their families. I come from a family with many members who are police officers, firefighters, and both veteran and active military personnel, so I have a personal connection to the sacrifices these heroes make. I truly believe those who risk their lives every day to protect and serve are real-life superheroes who deserve our unwavering support.
When searching the page of organizations who will be participating in the TCS NYC Marathon, I knew I wanted to represent an organization that supported our first responders.

I have been selected to represent Answer The Call.
The New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund supports the families of New York City Police Officers, Firefighters, Port Authority Police, and EMS Personnel who have been killed in the line of duty.
There are many brave men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice to protect our city, Answer The Call supports the families these heroes have left behind. The organizations mission is to reassure these families that we will never forget them or the sacrifice made by their loved ones. They provide financial assistance, host special gatherings, and offer a network of support to 500+ families. Their goal is to raise enough funds to assist these families for the rest of their lives.
Throughout the next few months I will be fundraising in honor of the Answer The Call organization to help assist their aid to our fallen first responders families.
