On November 1, I will be running the NYC Marathon with Answer the Call: The New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund. This incredible nonprofit provides ongoing financial assistance to families when a loved one is suddenly killed in the line of duty.
As a proud first responder of 13 years in Philadelphia, the work this organization does is deeply personal to me. They step in during life’s most difficult moments—offering stability and relief when families need it most.
Training for a marathon is no easy feat, especially while balancing a demanding career. It takes months of physical and mental preparation. But this journey is about more than the miles—it’s about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice and ensuring their kin are never left to face the aftermath alone.
Your donation goes directly to the non-profit and will help provide critical financial support to widows and their children during unimaginable times.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference. Simply sharing this page would mean just as much.
Together, we can honor the fallen, support their families, and truly “Answer the Call.”
Thank you for your generosity and support.
