I invite you to stand beside me and the inspiring Team for Kids as we take on the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. Team for Kids is a vibrant group of adult runners dedicated to a mission beyond the finish line—raising crucial funds for the New York Road Runners youth and community programs. to cultivate healthy habits through running. Together, we have the opportunity to inspire and build healthier, stronger lives, transforming communities with every stride.
My journey to this moment is personal and pivotal. In 2021, I faced a severe illness that shook my world and brought with it the challenge of osteoporosis at just 23 years old. What seemed like an insurmountable obstacle became a turning point. Through commitment and perseverance, I embraced fitness and found strength I never imagined. Today, nearing 26, I'm training to conquer 26.2 miles, proving not only to myself but to others that with determination, change is possible.
