A MESSAGE FROM Christian's NYC Marathon Fundraising
I'm excited that this will be my first year running the New York City Marathon. In 2021 I experienced a life-threatening accident that led to a traumatic brain injury, which altered my perspective on life. I spent months rehabbing, regaining, and healing my physical and mental capabilities. After spending so much time with little control of my body, I believe that it would be a disservice to not utilize it to its fullest potential. After everything I’ve experienced, I’m fortunate to be able to train for and run the marathon. I know that many people are not in the same position I am. This is my way of using my story to advocate for Traumatic Brain Injuries and further the message of the Brain Injury Association of New York. Thank you for supporting me.
