Thank you for supporting my 2026 NYC Marathon journey with Team for Kids! This has been a goal of mine for a long time!
Team for Kids is a team of adult runners who raise funds to support New York Road Runners youth and community programs nationwide. Your donation will help provide free youth and community programs that promote exercise, building community and healthy lifestyles through sports, running experiences and after school programs in the hopes of encouraging lifelong fitness and stronger communities.
I am running with Team for Kids because I believe that kids should have access to living a fun and active childhood as well as access to an encouraging community to promote confidence and motivation at a young age. I am a big believer that having an active lifestyle improves mental health, mood, grit and discipline, and think that starts with childhood. Growing up, I attempted a range of sports from ice skating, cheerleading, and volleyball. I believe that the lessons and discipline I learned through these experiences is what pushed me to continue to stay active as an adult, take the leap to sign up for this marathon, and it will carry me through the challenges of running every mile.
