About Me and the Team:
My name is Andrew and I am running the 2025 NYC Marathon as a member of the Team For Kids. NYRR Team for Kids is a group of dedicated adult runners who commit to fundraising for NYRR youth and community programs. These programs provide free events at schools and community centers that encourage physical activity and educate about nutrition. Any contribution towards my goal of $3000 is greatly appreciated and I am offering rewards for donation levels (please see below).

FAQ: 
Q: Can you finish a marathon?
A: I have been training consistently for a few years now including many half marathons and am running my first marathon in April with a goal time of 4 hours and 30 minutes. I am 95% sure I can run a marathon but stay tuned for proof of concept . I did run up Mount Washington once. That sucked.

Q: Why should I donate?
A: Because your support means a lot to me. And if you don't really care about that, I have some fun rewards to hopefully convince you!

$10: I will endorse you in any subject on LinkedIn (for legal reasons this is a joke)

$20: I will give you a personal shout out on my Instagram story alongside a very cute picture of my handsome dog or my cute cat.

$60: I will watch ANY movie of your choice and write a thorough review posted to my Letterboxd and shared on Instagram story. Really, any movie. Go nuts. (Movie must be sub 2.5 hours). [Movies already chosen: Anchorman 2, A Talking Cat!?, An Extremely Goofy Movie, Morbius, Mysterious Skin, Jack and Jill, TMNT 2: Secret of The Ooze, Cats]

$100: I will dedicate a mile of the marathon to you or someone of your choice on my Instagram story both DURING THE RACE and include in a full recap post after the race.  [Miles already taken: 1, 2, 5, 10]

Highest donation: Choose my facial hair for race day! Highest donation will be determined as of October 7th at Noon.  Current Leader:  $250

Have a fun idea you want to convince me of?  I can offer tutoring services for any  math up to AP Calculus, physics up to Mechanics / Electricity & Magnetism. I can make you homemade bagels. Reach out and ask!
