Hi everyone, my name is Chris Hermosillo, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. I used to run a lot in high school, but after surgery I had to step away from the sport for a while. Now I’m 26, I’m starting to get back into shape, and I’m ready to take on this challenge with purpose and passion.

I’m running with Team for Kids, which raises funds to support New York Road Runners youth and community programs. These programs help kids develop confidence, stay active, and build healthy habits through running. Running gave me strength and motivation when I was younger, and I want more kids to have access to that same opportunity.
