Since 1972, the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) has been dedicated to inspiring and empowering future leaders through education, mentorship, and professional development. In New York City, ALPFA NY carries that mission into the five boroughs, creating pathways for Latino students and professionals through its professional chapter, student chapters, and ventures. Within the chapter, the Community Impact Committee builds partnerships with organizations across the city to secure resources that advance ALPFA NY's strategic agenda and create lasting change for the community and our partners. Our focus is on elevating the visibility of Latino role models through mentorship and sustainable education programs, and on organizing collaborative events that enrich the local Latino community.
