Navigating the physical and mental grind of marathon training as a mid-size woman brings heavy hurdles, but I refuse to let outside noise dictate my limits. Too many people talk themselves out of executing high-stakes goals just because they feel like they don't fit the mold. I wear my Bronx roots with absolute pride, and I'm lacing up to prove that grit, execution, and resilience matter far more than optics. As a first-generation eldest daughter who has pushed through chronic depression, a brutal pandemic-era college journey, and relentless self-doubt, I'm stepping onto this course to shatter every box they build and prove that discipline beats the odds every single time.

I run for the children and families fighting against all odds just to experience a healthy, active life, which gives me profound gratitude for a body that can perform under pressure. Growing up rooted in real physical movement rather than screens taught me the value of building a strong foundation early.
